Our client is looking for a motivated, self starter with over 3+ years of experience to join their group developing extensions to their core product using Object oriented (.NET) API. Development will be focused on risk related applications, pre trade analytics and also include web based reporting tools. This is a fantastic mix of technology and business based on their Enterprise Trading and Risk management (ETRM) solution. Solid software development life-cycle experience, and a proven record of designing, coding, and delivering applications to multiple clients would be a benefit. Successful candidate will join a small team working on numerous projects and should be willing to work both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science preferred but not required
- Must have 3+ years of experience developing in C# (.NET) in Windows environment (MS Certification is a plus)
- Object oriented analysis and design skills
- Relational database analysis and design and experience using PL/SQL and/or Transact SQL

The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in business matters related to accounting and back-office settlement processing for major financial institutions and large multi-national corporations. They will also have direct interaction with our client’s system implementation teams and customers, structuring internal processes and advising their clients on the efficient generation of settlement documents, the creation of client-specific interface applications and the creation of ledger entries to support management accounting/reporting requirements. QUALIFICATIONS:

Our client is looking for a highly motivated, creative and competent Java Analyst Programmer who relishes a real business/technology challenge. You will be required to work with their core development team in Long Island. The successful applicant will have at least 6 years of commercial development experience, with a strong emphasis in design and will join a small focused team designing and developing a next-generation Data Grid application for our client’s cross platform trading and risk management solution. Knowledge of and experience in the development of Java SE application is essential. Experience with in-memory data grid products such as Oracle Coherence would be a distinct advantage. Client-facing skills could be an advantage since some developments may involve customer specifications. You will need to travel occasional internationally, since this role is part of the team located out of their London Office.
REQUIREMENTS:
