The Tax Manager in the Federal Tax practice is responsible for tax return review; compliance, consulting and planning; client management and practice development activities.
Review Federal, Multi-National, Multi-State Corporate (C&S), Partnership, Individual, Trust, Estate tax returns.
Federal and State Tax Audit Representation.
Review FAS 109 calculations.
Federal tax research involving significant tax projects (R&D Credits, IRC Section 382 Studies, etc.).
Keep current on new federal, state and international tax matters.
Coordinate with Client Accounting and Tax departments.
Develop tax package data requests, instruct staff on tax adjustments and implementation of tax application systems.
Review tax returns for accuracy, minimization of tax liability, available tax credits, and tax provision.
Responsible for seminar presentations, training, and reviewing presentations by staff and seniors.
Responded to: client inquiries, Internal Revenue Service, State and Local tax notices.

They are currently seeking a Tax Manager for their Jenkintown, PA office. The Tax Manager is responsible for the delivery of a full range of tax services for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include interacting closely with clients and private equity investors to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise; developing and managing staff; working closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development and business development activities; and formulating and delivering innovative tax planning and tax savings strategies.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
BS in Accounting, CPA required, MST a plus
Recent public experience within a Regional or Midsize Firm required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and CCH Prosystems preferred
FAS 109 and/or FIN 48 preferred
